Does not allow to alter fields and format fields, or even add fields. needs some work, in this version, a waste of money!

Unless your cheques perfectly line up with their template, then good luck. They only provide one of those, by the way, and its impossible to see if it fits.

This app is useless. You cant add fields - I need to add the address field and I cant do it. Also it wont print business cheques (with bank slips). Id better off spending that $1 elsewhere.

The App immediately requested I name the first template. That is as far as I got, unable to save, continue, get support, even close the app. Dont waste your money. Now to try and get a refund, Arrgh. Im getting tired of dealing with Apple - not the same company it used to be. They should be testing these apps before selling them.

With a little fine tuning and some test prints, the app works great! Im Canadian and took measurements of my CDN cheques, ( we use the Multi-purpose ones your bank provides) and created a template. Works like a charm! Only issue with it thus far is that it wont print the Background image. we wanted to add our Biz logo.

to much bug

This app have too much bug. First. When i paste the Template Details and then try to upload the background, But the come out background is incorrect. So i couldn’t adjust the right field.

This app has been driving me crazy…to upload an image cheque…it does not recognize it. The standard fields if they match the upper portion of theb cheque, then they don’t match. This app is not worth the money…you can do better with an excel spreadsheet.

I want to be refund, impossible to enjoy, this is crap. I want my money back………………………GRRRRR.

Dont WASTE your MONEY and TIME! I read the reviews and by the date of the last update, no one had wrote a review afterwards….. They must have fixed their errors. Not even close, read and BELIEVE the reviews.

The pix in the App Store look good… but there are many serious flaws with this one. There are NO preference settings, no language options, no real guide for aligning anything. When you set up your account, you can customize your checks to print, but the interface is seriously lacking. You can drag the lower right corner of the check image to match your physical check. The app shows you the size in inches. But after that initial adjustment, you are left to your own devices for determining size and location of the fields. You just drag the field around with no refernce point, no grid… so its just "hit or miss. There is no Help file, and no option to set font sizes or language. And worst of all, you cant print decimal amounts. There is NO way to enter a decimal point and cents on your check… This one needs some SERIOUS work… dont waste your money. This is close to the most worthless, useless piece of poorly constructed software that I have ever used. I wish I could (a) rate ZERO STARS and (b) get a refund for shoddy software.

r u serious! nothing is related to check printing, whatever effort u spend to scale the check image it keeps printing in one size, i wish i could donate this dollar instead of spending it on this silly App...

So I decided to give it a try and it prints just fine but for some reason I cant get it to actually fit on a check. Ive tried a couple times on one check and the date and amount in number form arent on the check at all and the "Pay to the order of" is printing at the top of the check. It makes me think the settings are for business checks but Im wanting to use it for regular personal checks. What am I doing wrong? Am I not setting the printer to the right settings before printing? Am I scanning a picture of my check wrong? Im not sure. Dislikes: Theres no help for Cheque Print and you can only email them if you want to contact them. Would like to see a way to see the instructions through the app like a link instead of having to go to a separate website. When I went to the instructions all it is is a visual of how to do it. No words to help you. Likes: I do like that I can save many templates if I have different style checks. When you do type in the amount in number form it automatically enters the amount in word form for you.

This app has a long way to go before it can be useful for me. The ability to upload a scanned image of your check to use as a template for design is a good idea but, unfortunately, nothing lines up with your design when you print. I had to keep re-designing the layout of my check to finally get something useful. I had to print about 8 prototypes before I could actually print a check. Not worth the money. I could have done a better job using Pages.

It is very useful and you just need to be good at working with these kinda software. All you should do is to scan your check and place your texts at proper positions, type it then print it. After the first time you can do it in 5sec.

Have to work on it for a least 30 minutes and wasted like 5 checks to get it where I wanted to be, good thing that once is setup for one size check you dont have to change it. wish it would allow to change font size in one area instead of on the whole check, could be pretty useful for the Memo field.

Good idea, execution is awful. Where I place the fields on the grid has no relation to where they are printed. Adjustment in the design mode do not consistently relate to the check.

My currency is not dollars, so this is useless because it wants to automate itself by writing the amount in words and places the word DOLLARS.

It takes a little trial and error (and some patience) to get the layout and document size just right, and you must be sure to set up the paper size on the page setup screen for your printer as a custom size, but once its set up properly it does what it advertises. For 99¢ its an adequate product. Id like to see a better ability to resize the fields (not just the text amount) to avoid overlapping them.
